Dog Rescue Story Candy

Candy, a Pomeranian, was rescued by a wonderful woman named
Florence. Candy was extremely neglected before Florence found
her. Her hair was matted and she had been beaten and confined
to a kennel for the majority of her life. Sounds like Florence found
Candy just in time! The veterinarian told Florence that it can take
six months or more before an abused dog will begin to trust again.
Florence is very patient with Candy and uses baby steps in order
to gain her trust. She firmly believes that abused animals deserve
second chances and forever, loving homes! Thank you, Florence,
for giving Candy a chance…she is a cutie!
