Rescue Dog Sugar

A short time ago, Crystal saw an ad on CraigsList for seven puppies that desperately needed
homes. The ad stated that the mother of the pups was scheduled to be euthanized the following
day. Crystal immediately sent an email asking if the mother dog was good with children...and if
so...she wanted her! The dog, now named Sugar, had been living a rough life (to say the least!).
She had been abandoned in the woods for over one month with no food. To make matters worse,
she was also pregnant! Sugar gave birth to her pups and almost died keeping them alive. Crystal's
heart went out to Sugar and she welcomed her into her home with open arms. Sugar loves to play
and cuddle and she REALLY loves going for walks to the dog park. She is protective of Crystal's
children and barks when they go too far from the house. What a wonderful dog!

Thank you Crystal for opening your home to Sugar and giving her a second chance! Most people
would have rescued one of the puppies...but you decided to help an older dog in need and for that,
we commend you!
